Producer, David Bradshaw

Travel back 540 million years to the Cambrian Oceans and witness the dawn of life on Earth. Be guided by Sir David Attenborough in this award-winning and pioneering virtual reality production.

Using top paleontological research and state of the art computer technology, you can come face-to-face with long-extinct animals such as the five-eyed Opabinia, the fearsome-looking Anomalocaris and the spiny, worm-like Hallucigenia are brought vividly in 360 degrees.

First Life was one of the first location-based VR experiences for cultural institutions, considerably increasing visitor footfall at the Natural History Museum where it was first shown. This VR experience has won several of the most prestigious digital awards in the industry, including the World Summit Award and the Museum & Heritage Award for Innovation, and was the first VR experience to ever be nominated for a BAFTA.

David Attenborough’s First Life VR is currently available to download now on the Sony Playstation VR Europe and Asia platforms.
